スカボロー・フェア　　サイモン&ガーファンクル

そもそもこの歌はスカボローの民謡でもなく（スカボローは地名として使われているだけ），　60年代のフォーク・ソング・ブームに影響を与えたイギリスの民謡歌手マーチン・カーシーのアレンジした曲で，　『スカボロー・フェア』をサイモンとガーファンクルが再アレンジしてヒットさせたらしいです。

この歌は単にスカボローのフォークソングではなく、２重歌詞になっています。
２つの歌詞が絡み合い、その一つはベトナム戦争反対のメッセージになっています。
